STARTING THE FIRE
For novice users, igniting wood is the most tragic moment, however it is so simple! Two fundamental rules must be kept in mind: wood must be completely dry and it should be cut into very small pieces.

When using the traditional method:
  • scrunch up a piece of paper at the base
  • place a layer of dry wood, cut in into small pieces, on top of it
  • on top of everything place larger pieces or else use charcoal or coal

There are other types of products for sale that can be used in place of paper, for example the ecological softwood tablets.
